Terms of service

These terms are between you and Matt Klette, trading as MBK Consulting, South Africa ("we"), and cover the Pixel Check website, free scans and paid monitoring ("the service").

The service

Pixel Check reads the public pages of a website and the Google Tag Manager containers it loads, and reports what tracking is installed and likely problems. Monitoring repeats that check daily for each store your plan covers (one store, or up to ten on the Agency plan) and emails you about changes. Findings are based on what's publicly visible and are worded as likely issues; they are not a guarantee that your tracking is correct or incorrect.

Fair use

Don't use the service to overload websites, scan at volume with scripts, get around our limits, or break the law. We may block or limit use that looks like abuse.

Subscriptions and billing

Lemon Squeezy is our reseller and merchant of record. It processes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and issues receipts. A subscription renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the account link in any of our emails; monitoring continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Refunds are covered in our refund policy. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of an existing subscription.

Our responsibilities

We run the service with reasonable care and skill, and we tell you if checks stop running for more than a day. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, that every problem will be found, or any particular result for your advertising.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue or advertising spend. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be excluded.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows when. If we close the service we'll give subscribers at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without affecting consumer protections you have where you live.
