Pixel Check is run by Matt Klette, trading as MBK Consulting, South Africa ("we"). Contact: mbkconsultinggroup@gmail.com. This page explains what we collect and why. The short version: we don't use cookies or analytics on this site, and we only keep what we need to run scans and monitoring.
When you run a free scan
- The address you enter and the scan result. The result lists the tracking tags visible on that website's public pages. We store it for 180 days so the report link keeps working, then delete it.
- Your IP address, hashed. To stop abuse we count scans per visitor. We store a one-way hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and delete the counters within a day.
When you subscribe
- Your name, email address and the store you monitor, received from Lemon Squeezy when you check out. We use them to run the daily checks and email you results and alerts.
- Daily check results for your store, kept for 90 days.
- Payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Their privacy policy applies to the checkout: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare (hosting and database), United States and worldwide.
- Lemon Squeezy (checkout, billing, tax), United States.
- Google (Gmail, which sends our emails), United States.
We don't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use it to train anything.
What we read on scanned websites
A scan downloads a website's public home page and any Google Tag Manager containers it loads, the same files any visitor's browser receives. We extract tag IDs and configuration only. We don't execute the site's scripts, fire its pixels, log in, or collect information about its visitors.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Email mbkconsultinggroup@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're in South Africa you can also complain to the Information Regulator; in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and email subscribers about anything significant.
