Pixels installed twice
GA4 or the Meta pixel set up in your theme, Tag Manager and a Shopify app at once. Purchases get counted twice and ROAS looks better than it is.
Free tracking scan for Shopify stores
Paste your store. In 20 seconds you'll see whether GA4, the Meta pixel, TikTok and Tag Manager are installed right, or quietly double counting and missing purchases.
Of five well-known Shopify brands we scanned on 8 November 2026, two had GA4 installed twice and three still had old Universal Analytics code in place. Big teams miss these. So do agencies.

Shopify checkout doesn't run theme code. If a pixel lives only in your theme or Tag Manager, your ad platforms probably never see a sale.
A container that's empty, deleted or never published, or two containers firing the same tags. We open every container your site loads.
No cookie banner, or Google Ads running without Consent Mode, which shrinks your remarketing audiences and conversion modelling.
Universal Analytics still loading years after it stopped working, or a second GA4 property splitting your data.
The big one. A theme update or app install removes a pixel and nothing tells you, until the ad spend report looks wrong weeks later.
Subscribe a store and we check it every day. When something changes, you get one short email that says what broke and how to fix it.
Run the free scan, then start monitoring that store in one click. Checkout takes a minute.
Every tag ID, app pixel, custom pixel, Tag Manager container and consent tool, compared with yesterday.
An email the moment something disappears or a new problem shows up, plus a one-line summary every Monday.
Today's check of yourstore.com found a change that affects your tracking:
Also changed: Tag Manager container GTM-ABC1234 was published (version 41 → 42).
The scan is free forever. Monitoring costs less than one wasted day of ad spend.

No. Pixel Check reads the same public pages and Tag Manager files every visitor's browser downloads. Nothing to install, no logins to share.
The scan works on any website and finds GA4, Google Ads, Tag Manager, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and consent tools. The Shopify-specific checks (app pixels, checkout tracking) only apply to Shopify stores.
It reads your pages and containers, not live traffic. It can't confirm a purchase event fires with the right value, it can't read the code inside Shopify custom pixels, and headless storefronts that load tags from their own JavaScript are only partly visible. The report tells you when that's the case, and we don't suggest subscribing a store we can't watch properly.
Those check one page in your browser when you remember to look. Pixel Check checks the whole setup every day and emails you when it changes, which is when tracking actually breaks.
Yes. Every email has a link to your account page, where you can cancel in two clicks. Monitoring runs until the end of the month you paid for.
No. A scan loads your home page once, like a single visitor. We don't fire your pixels, so your analytics and ad data are untouched.
I'm Matt Klette. I'm a contract tracking engineer for a US apparel brand, working in Google Tag Manager, server-side tagging and the Meta Conversions API every day. I built Pixel Check because the most expensive tracking bugs I find are the ones that broke quietly months earlier. Questions or a strange result? Email mbkconsultinggroup@gmail.com and I'll answer myself.
